Last week Razer teased its fans with a preview of an upcoming mouse which we can today confirm is called the Salmosa Gaming Mouse.

It is a 1800dpi mouse with 3G infrared sensor and is supposedly the fastest tracking optical mouse in the world and is said to enable movement speeds of up to 2.25 times faster than other regular gaming mice.

It also includes toggle switches on the bottom of the mouse that enable gamers to make 800/1800dpi and 125/500/1000Hz polling rate adjustments - without the need of software.

The Salmosa is currently listed as out of stock on the Razer website, so we are not sure of pricing at this stage. If you're in the market for a new gaming mouse, this might be the one for you.
