ASUS has showcased the ROG Xbox Ally X20 at Computex 2026 and confirmed that the ROG XREAL R1 glasses will be bundled with the new 20th-anniversary edition.

ASUS is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new gold-themed line of products, all unveiled at Computex 2026. One of those 20th anniversary edition products is the ROG XBOX Ally X20, which ASUS confirmed at their booth is going to be bundled with the ROG XREAL R1 AR glasses, which enable gamers to stop looking at the 7.4-inch premium OLED panel within the XBOX Ally X20 to a 171-inch virtual screen at a viewing distance of four meters.
The XREAL R1 glasses use micro-OLED panel technology and feature a 1920 x 1080p resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.2ms response time. As for the ROG XBOX Ally, ASUS has equipped it with a 7.4-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution. However, that isn't the most impressive part of the display; this handheld has a VESA Display HDR 1000 certification, along with a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

"The bundle includes the special-edition ROG XBOX Ally X20 handheld (with TMR joysticks, Transforming D-Pad, and premium ergonomics) plus the matching ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, creating a complete portable gaming system," explained ASUS ROG in its press release

Additionally, it supports Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. Inside, ASUS ROG has a Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor paired with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage, and an 80WH battery.
