Patriot Memory came to Computex 2026 with some new products including DRAM, SSDs for handheld devices, and some external storage solutions. But rather than try to dazzle with attention-grabbing high-end kits or impressive overclocks, Patriot highlighted a more mainstream kit.

The Viper Steel 5 Infinite RGB memory kits range from 6000 MT/s to 8000 MT/s speeds, with capacities of 2x16GB, 2x24GB and 2x32GB. These are regular DIMMs, and not the more expensive CUDIMM variety.
The kit looks really lovely, with the individual LEDs barely visible. It creates a true infinity effect.
Patriot didn't provide a release time frame or price, but the company is all too aware of the memory crunch, and it's doing its best to cater to users looking for a beautiful and capable kit, without the ridiculous prices some high-spec CUDIMM kits are selling for. Let's hope Patriot follows through on its word.
Aside from memory, Patriot showcased a pair of M.2 SSD enclosures. They're not particularly fancy, but they'll appeal to users looking for practical external storage solutions.

The EV330 supports 2230 M.2 SSDs with a USB 10Gbps connection. It features a silicone bumper and drop-proof protection. Such a device will weigh very little. It's small enough to be attached to a key ring and it'll come in handy for users looking for a very light, small external storage device.

The ED830 is a larger metallic enclosure with a kickstand that doubles as a smartphone stand. It's magnetized and worked well in practice. The device supports USB 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2) and can house M.2 SSDs ranging from 2230 to 2280 size. It can house SSDs with a capacity of up to 8TB. Its USB cable doubles as a carrying loop, secured with a rubber housing.
The SSD enclosures and DRAM don't have pricing or a release date, but I wouldn't expect them to come to market with high prices. A shout out to Patriot for focusing on practical solutions at this year's Computex.
