Renowned for precise engineering, sleek designs, and thermal performance, be quiet!'s cases have continued to impress over the years, and at Computex 2026, we got the chance to check out its next-gen flagship Pure Base 803 and Pure Base 803 LX in prototype form. Built for premium components and even workstation-style rigs, they both can support up to three 420mm radiators for extreme performance. The PSU is also top-mounted on the rear for easy access.

And to give you a sense of the size, the model you see here has a GeForce RTX 5090 installed, one of the largest GPUs on the market, and it doesn't look all that big inside the Pure Base 803. The build also includes be quiet!'s new Light Loop IO LCD cooler, with its vibrant lighting, daisy-chained Light Wings LX PWM, and a 2.1-inch IPS display with 500-nit peak brightness.
One of the reasons the new Pure Base 803 and Pure Base 803 LX sit on the larger side is their ability to support multiple hard drives and expanded storage. So, in addition to housing an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 dual CPU and a GeForce RTX 5090 for AAA gaming in 4K with path tracing, they're also cases for the AI workstation and AI enthusiast markets for those looking for performance and cooling when running local models and agents.

The physical design of the prototypes that we saw was definitely stylish and looked fairly complete; however, be quiet! let us know that the designs would most likely be optimized and tweaked ahead of the planned Q1 2027 launch window. As for the differences between the Pure Base 803 and Pure Base 803 LX, you've got one variant with two tempered glass panels and another that offers a fully enclosed look for those more interested in their workstation potential.
