FromSoftware's The Duskbloods will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 this summer, as Nintendo has confirmed during a recent Direct.
FromSoftware has developed The Duskbloods with a focus on multiplayer, with the setting being inspired by the studio's iconic title Bloodborne. From the above trailer, we can see Duskbloods is shaping up to be a gothic, action-packed experience, as players will be taking on not only other players but also the environment.
The title is expected to leverage the Switch 2's enhanced hardware to deliver a smooth experience in a portable package, and while we don't have any performance metrics yet, The Duskbloods is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, meaning it has been specifically developed for the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, as opposed to being a port.

This announcement is a significant moment for Nintendo, as it signals the company is more than happy to have gamers who enjoy more adult titles on its platform, rather than having its device reserved for Nintendo-developed/adjacent games aimed at kids.
"Step into this new PvPvE multiplayer action game from FromSoftware, where you take on the role of a Bloodsworn. Fight through a world overrun with enemies using unique weapons and abilities, while occasionally forming transient alliances on your path to victory," writes Nintendo
FromSoftware's history of creating intense, atmospheric gameplay gives The Duskbloods the potential to be a good enough reason for some FromSoftware fans to go out and buy a Nintendo Switch 2. With The Duskbloods now locked in for 2026, the Switch 2's lineup continues to grow with high-impact titles, and that is much-needed as the Switch 2 currently doesn't have many exclusive heavy-hitter titles from mainstream companies.
